The Locust Point Community Garden is a cherished resource in our community, it provides a space for residents to come together, grow their own food, and learn about the importance of environmental stewardship.  Also, it is one of the last green spaces around Baltimore’s harbor. Under Armour has decided to sell the garden space to a developer which would essentially “pave over” our garden.  Over 1,600 people signed our petition  asking UA to change their minds to no avail. We had to vacate the property as of Dec.15th, 2023.  

The City of Baltimore has come through by providing a space for the garden at Latrobe Park.  We will have to build the garden over from scratch however, we are committed to providing the Locust Point neighborhood an area for community engagement and fresh fruits and vegetables that we can eat ourselves or share with less fortunate individuals and groups.  This whole effort will cost about $46,000 to implement, you can help by contributing to our effort at our donation site:  Locust Point Community Garden Relocation to Latrobe Park
